Gabe has been wanting to go to this indie movie theater downtown called The Flicks ever since we moved to Boise. But me being the stubborn person that I am, was skeptical. Of course, Gabe was right, The Flicks was amazing! At The Flicks, you can have a steak dinner while watching your movie! I'm pretty sure that right there can make any movie theater legit. ha. It also had a tiny movie store inside that you could rent pretty much any indie or foreign film ever made, which is pretty dang cool. Anyways, we watched Like Crazy, which apparently isn't a big seller because the movie theater it was playing in could only seat 20 people. It was like the mini version of a theater. We loved it and both nerded out and had each other take pictures of the each other in front of it. As for the movie, I really enjoyed it, although the ending was a bit rough. Gabe just though it was okay, although both of us agreed the acting was phenomenal. The moral of this story is if you’re ever in Boise and want to catch a movie, head over to The Flicks. It's definitely one of Boise's little gems.
