Destination: Beautiful

It was a while ago when I wrote this letter to my wifey and I still stand by it one-hundred percent.

Dear Wifey:

You don't think you are the smartest person, but you still give me answers to almost every question I ask. You are the smartest person I know. My own little google. You don't think you are the cutest girl in the world, but we have a mirror in our house. I don't understand why you can't see what I see. You are the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world. My oh, My oh, My Boooo. You don't think you are the best friend anyone could ever have, even though you try to be there for all of your friends at the same time. I'm YOUR best friend so who do you think mine is? You are the best friend anyone could ever have and my beyond bestie. You don't want to stand on your tippy toes, because you are afraid you might fall. You talk about how clumsy you are, but I never see you fall. And every day, you stand a little taller. You don't want to crinkle your nose, because your Aunt Candyce says it will cause wrinkles soon. She's probably right, but eventually we will all have wrinkles, and I think it's cute when you stand on your tippy toes and crinkle your nose. You are the bestest. Te amo, chica.

        Tonight, Katie and I skipped out on homework for a little while to spend some time together. After getting all cute for each other, we grabbed the longboards and rolled out. Destination: Fanci Freez. And the best part. Brace yourself. Katie curled her hair. This woman has no idea how hot she is. I'm glad too, because if she did, I would've never had a chance. I still had to work pretty hard, but I must've done a few good things in this life of mine.
        Right before arriving at Fanci Freez, I led us straight through a huge puddle for a nice evening shower. Bad call on my part, but we made it safely...with the new camera, which I was extremely worried about. I guess I should have more trust in Katie's riding ability. She's pretty good on a board, you know? Nope, you don't. But she is. And I'm not saying that because she's sitting next to me, with her laptop in her lap...looking beautiful. With her newly did hair that is so perfectly curled.
         It has only been three years and so much has changed, but there are a few things that haven't.  My wifey is still the smartest person I know, my own little google. She is still the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world. She is still the bestest friend that I could ever have. She still stands a little taller everyday. No trips, no scratches. She still crinkles her nose, and so far, is wrinkle-free. And in the midst of mounds of homework, I still manage to sneak a kiss. Or two. Or three.

And that's why I love her.
